| Feb 18, 2008 by Jim Orrok The Kearsarge Girls team played the Concord team at home on Saturday. After a giving a good fight for the win the Concord Team finally succeeded with a score of 4 to 3. Goals were scored by Alysha Orrok, Allie Folcik and Julie Watson. On Sunday the Girls traveled to Kimball Union Academy to play the Twin Valley Team. The Kearsarge team had a strong day scoring 8 goals. Fallon Adair made three goals for the team, followed by Allie Folcik with two and Alysha Orrok, Haley Pollok and Julie Watson scoring one goal each. Sarah Beattie, the goalie did not allow the Twin Valley Team to score any goals.Next weekend the Kearsarge team will take on the Twin Valley Team again on Saturday at Proctor Academy for a 9:15 game. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Feb 11, 2008 by Jim Orrok It was a busy weekend for the Kearsarge U14 Girls. They had a home game on Saturday against Dover. Goals were scored by Allie Folcik and Haley Pollok. The game ended with a 2-2 tie. The team attended a Dartmouth Women's Hockey Game on Saturday evening to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day. On Sunday they had an away game in Hartford, VT against the Lebanon U14B Team. After a competitive game Lebanon finally won the game 2-0. The team has improved greatly since the beginning of the season. If you want to come cheer them on, next weekend the girls have a 8 AM home game at Proctor on Saturday and a 11:15 AM game at Kimball Union on Sunday. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
