Kearsarge Bantam thrashers competed in the Woodstock, Vermont Spring Fling tournament, coming home with the FIRST PLACE champion trophy. Kearsarge competed against Pleasant Valley Area (PVA) Friday night in the first game, winning by a score of 7-3. Next Kearsarge faced tournament home team, Woodstock Vermont Saturday morning and won decisively by a score of 6-1. Saturday night, Kearsarge played Harwood (Waterbury) to a 3-3 tie, but 2 wins and a tie earned Kearsarge the top seed in the championship round. On Sunday, PVA was no match for Kearsarge which won the trophy by a score of 8-0. Kearsarge outscored their oppponents 24-7 in the four game tournament and ended their 07/08 season is high style. A fun family skate/scrimmage is scheduled for Thursday night, March 6th, the final get together for the team until the banquet.

Kearsarge Bantams won their final game prior to next weekends tournament in Woodstock, Vermont, by defeating the Lebanon-Hartford by a score of 4-3. Kearsarge's top line of Tristan Amaral, Corin Craig and Zach Edge accounted for all of Kearsarge's goals, while Cam Wood, Taran Cullen, Tommy Arnold, Aidan Donovan and goalie Michael Eustis were excellent in defense.

Kearsarge Bantams lost 2-1 to Hanover Wild in a close game decided by a third period power play goal for the Wild. Local Andover resident Jacob Frost scored Kearsarge's only goal.

With Governor and Mrs. Lynch in attendance the Kearsarge Bantams defeated Cardigan Mtn on Wednesday January 23, 5-2. at “The Ted”, Proctor Academy’s ice rink. Cam Wood lead the offense with two goals.

Kearsarge Bantams won their second game of the week beating the NH Avalanche 6-4 in a home game at Proctor Academy on Saturday. Leading the Kearsarge team in scoring was Tristan Amaral with a hat trick. Bredan Carr, Cam Wood and Craig Godbout also scored for the KYHA Thrashers. On Sunday, the Bantams split games tying Eseter while suffering a 5-2 loss to Dover. Bantams are home Sat. 9:15 am vs. Jr. Monarchs and away for games against Henniker and Hanover on Sunday.
